The legend of Rey Asesino episodes 1

                          THE STROM
A man in his late 40s accompanied by his wife and child leave their car and proceed to knock on his parent's house whispers to his son:" be nice to your grandparents they miss you l know life on the farm is boring but you have to check on the people who love you" his son looks at him and nods.

His father opens the door to greet them:" you came just in time, dinner is ready.
You can hear his mother calling from the kitchen:" where's my baby boy I've prepared your favorite and some homemade pizza for Cesar.
Come on now take your coats off your shoes at the door."
Cesar looked excited that his grandmother cares about him since his father is strict on his diet due to him being a bit chubby. But his father can't say no to his mother so at least he's got something going for him already.
They spent the evening chatting and telling Cesar about how his father was also chubby when he was young and his grandfather was strict with him too. Before leaving his wife Sarah had to go to the bathroom and no one wants to rush a pregnant lady.

While they wait. Adam went to help his father set up the chimney. Cesar gets pulled to the side by his grandmother as she fills his pocket with money and sweets. She mentioned that every time he comes around he brings joy to their house. Cesar was so happy with what she said he went for a hug.
His wife:" alright shall we go?"
Adam:" I'm afraid not. It seems that there's snow storm it's safer to spend the night here and head off in the morning"
Adams father:" correct I'll go get you and Cesar something comfortable to wear"
They hang around for a little bit longer around the chimney Adam and his father plays chess and his mother knits. His wife already went to sleep an hour ago and Cesar was on the floor playing with the phone.
Grandfather: "Did you glue it to his hand? It's been more than 30 minutes since the last time he blinked"
Adam:" Cesar why don't you join us hand me the phone please"
Cesar:" I don't want to let play dad"
The grandfather looks at Adam with a look of frustration. then snatch the phone from Cesar
Grandfather:" grandpa might be old but he's still fast come here and sit next to me if we beat your dad in the game I'll give you your phone back"
Cesar has no other choice but to participate in the game. As time goes by he fell asleep on his grandfather's lap he looks at him and says with a smile on his face
"You know, you used to sleep just like this when you were young. You're a good dad he's just from a different generation just like you and I are different. But don't worry when grows older he'll be more like his father. You should go get some rest you'll be driving tomorrow I'll take him to his room."
Adam goes to his room to rest while Cesar lies there. His grandpa tries to move out of the couch without disturbing him to turn on the TV. He goes through the channel trying to find something interesting to watch. He passes by a commercial promoting a match in an upcoming event of a wrestling promotion called the Revival.
Cesar: "Do you watch wrestling?"
Grandpa: "Do you?"
Cesar:" I LOVE WRESTLING!"
Grandpa: "shh you're going to everyone up... yes I used to be a huge fan of wrestling back in my youth. I still watch it between now and then"
Cesar:" how come dad doesn't like it"
Grandpa:" when he was growing up I told him to stop watching it because he wanted to become a wrestler and it's too dangerous for him. Maybe he still likes it but he's afraid that you might have the same dreams as him.... listen grandma loves it when you're around and we have something in common how about you tell your parents to spend more time with us and I'll buy the pay per view so we can watch it together"
Without any hesitation, Cesar accepted but under one condition he has to tell him stories about the legends of his generation.
He mentioned that he used to know the legendary Rey asesino. Cesar asks for a picture of him and Rey. His grandpa ensured that he had something even better. He went up to his room and pulled the iconic black mask with the white skull and a teardrop from his right eye. He mentioned That mask has more legacy than the big three. Cesar asks:" the big three"
Grandpa:" and you say you love wrestling huh.. the big three are the best companies in the world. We have the revival in great America.
The Carthaginian alliance has the Carthaginian combat zone they're similar to us but they don't honor the masks that they wear, they honor the effort of the wrestler to keep standing up after getting knocked out over and over.
They don't have tko nor submissions over there the only way a match could end is if the victor pins his adversary to end his failed attempts to keep fighting back.
The only thing that annoys me about them is that they think that the sport belongs to them because the arena and the spectacle are something Romans used to do way before wrestling was here. All they did was modernize it to make it less lethal and more entertaining.
I disagree our styles are very different"
The grandfather added:" this new generation is a little bit confusing for me. We used to have a personality every wrestler you see on the TV or in the show, even in a conference, used to wear his mask.
That mask used to mean something. It showed the lineage that carried that mask of their achievements and their stories. The wrestler without the mask is as worthless as the mask without the wrestler. That's why back in the day when you see a match with a mask on the line you know that feud has reached boiling point.
Today's generation doesn't honor the masks they take them off because they want to be known. Did you know Asesino Rey's first rival was an unmasked wrestler he used to be hated for not wearing a mask.. well that and other things"
Cesar:" Have you ever watched any of his matches in the arena?"
He replied: "of course, I've been to almost every match he had here in the revival back when I was young I've watched him rise through the ranks and gain the fan's respect"
Cesar asked if he could hear everything about it his grandfather told him he will do whatever it takes to keep him off his phone...
